What are Mishloach Manot?
- A Mitzvah, or commandment of Purim, based on the Book of Esther, which instructs people to send gifts to each other.
- A gift intended to ensure that everyone has a means to celebrate Purim.
- A gift intended to counteract Haman’s accusations that Jews were a scattered and divided nation (so important in the current world!)
