Ahavath Torah Congregation (ATC) has been a part of the Town of Stoughton for over 100 years. Since 1969, 1179 Central Street has been our home to a 60,000 square foot campus — housing areas for worship, study, and community gatherings.

With a fully equipped commercial kosher kitchen, social hall, a 400-seat sanctuary, 30-seat chapel, school, and media center, our building and grounds meet the needs of our community.

SOCIAL HALL
ATC is home to a spacious social hall with a sound system and dance floor to host a fun and successful event. The social hall seats 300 auditorium style or 160 for dinner  seated. Our social hall can host any event.

MAJORIE ASNES MEMORIAL LOBBY
Entering the synagogue, our lobby and foyer underwent a major refurbishment in 2018, thanks to the largesse of the Asnes families, in memory of Marjorie Asnes.

LIPSKY MEMORIAL SANCTUARY
With seating for 200, it is a worship space of which we are justifiably proud. Beautiful stained-glass windows cast a golden light during the daylight hours. Outstanding acoustics—to which the many musical and vocal groups give ample testimony to our sanctuary.

LIPSKY LEVY MEMORIAL CHAPEL
The Memorial Chapel was renovated 2015 and provides a smaller intimate area for prayer and reflection.

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL AREA
The Rabbi Gerson and Temple Beth Emunah South Area Religious School and the Linda Schiff Media Center are located on the lower level. A spacious lower social hall can accommodate up to 50 people for smaller functions.

The ATC USY Youth Lounge is dedicated to Lois Levy, who for decades served  as youth director. The lounge provides a welcome location for our youth programs, including air hockey, a bumper pool table, games, and state of the art video systems.
