Youth Programs
Ahavath Torah Congregation (ATC)’s youth program, called South Area USY (SAUSY), is comprised of three South Shore congregations. Temple Beth Emunah and B’nai Tikvah of the South Shores join together to comprise SAUSY.
There are a wide variety of social, cultural, and recreational activities for Jewish children in grades 3-12. Our objective is to provide young people with an opportunity to meet for enjoyable activities while learning more about our Jewish heritage.
Programs are designed to develop a social consciousness through participation in social action projects within the community. We believe that strong youth programming is an important supplement to formal Jewish education and helps to establish lifelong Jewish involvement along with forming friendships that will last for a lifetime.
Our youth program is divided into three autonomous groups: Kadima (grades 3-5), Junior USY (grades 6-8), and Senior USY serves grades 9-12.
We have so many fun events scheduled each year; there is something for everyone! Events include laser tag, snow tubing, ice skating, hamantaschen baking and events and many more!
We are looking forward to another fun year!
