Rabbi Henry Gerson Religious School

Welcome to the Rabbi Henry Gerson Religious School, located at Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Our two-day-a-week Hebrew School program was recognized as a Framework for Excellence School. In order to achieve this recognition, we had to meet rigorous standards in professional development, curriculum development and family education. We continue to meet all of the goals, aims and benchmarks necessary to be considered a school of exceptional academic quality. We take pride in providing a well-rounded Jewish education, infused with enrichment activities, music, holiday celebrations and a love for learning.

Our classes meet twice weekly for Grades 1 through 7. Kindergarten meets on Sundays only. The schedule is the same as it was this past year:

Aleph (1st Grade) through Zayin (7th Grade)
Sunday 9 AM – Noon
Aleph (1st Grade) through Hay (5th Grade)
Tuesday 3:45 PM – 6:15 PM
Vav (6th Grade) and Zayin (7th Grade)
Wednesday 3:45 PM – 6:15 PM

In continuing our outstanding programming, we are offering the Yesod Program, for eighth, ninth and tenth graders wishing to continue their religious studies in the same facility. Yesod will meet once a week on Sunday mornings.

Feel free to contact our education director, Ruth Greenfield, at 781-344-8755 or via e-mail at eddirector@atorah.org, for additional information.
