Kadima and USY

USY is an opportunity to participate in fun events with Jewish kids from our area as well as throughout New England and the USA.  Some of last years events ranged from Regional boat cruises, Rock climbing, A Red Sox Game, Sushi in the Sukkah, Regional Dances and Formals, Israel Fest, Chapter Lounge nights, Shabbatons, Chapter and Regional Conventions and Kinnusim, Regional Encampment, Social Action and Tikun Olam events, Purim Carnival, Chapter run services and the ever popular International Convention which was held in Washington, DC. I am proud to say that all three of our youth groups have expanded our membership ranks and that we value our USYer’s input to our programs. The advisors are always open to YOUR ideas because this is YOUR program!  Kids can be active at the chapter, regional or international levels – USY can take you anywhere you choose to go.

We are a small, but very active and involved chapter.  We have been recognized by the region with several prestigious awards at Spring Convention.  Our innovative programming rivals that of chapters 3 times our size.  Kadima includes grades 5 and 6, JR USY is for grades 7 and 8 and SR USY if for grades 9 though 12. Membership to our programs is open all year round. One does not have to be an ATC member to join Stoughton USY.  We have had members from several communities such as Brockton, Easton, Canton, Bridgewater, Norton and of course, Stoughton. The more the merrier.
Our advisors are energetic and devoted to the USY experience. Gail Stogel is our Kadima advisor, Kevin Margolius our JR USY advisor and Rachel Block is our SR USY advisor. They are always available to answer your questions and we always look for input from our members and their families.  Please try us, you'll like us...
